HWL Ebsworth has advised Banco Santander and CBD Energy as owners of the 106.8 MW Taralga wind farm project, valued at approximately $A280 million, of which $A189 million is to be funded through project finance. The project reached financial close on 2 August 2013.

On 28 November 2012, the Queensland Government introduced the Directors’ Liability Reform Amendment Bill 2012 (Qld) to amend legislation to reduce over 3,800 possible breaches of a director's, or other corporate officer's, liability to approximately 280 potential offences.
